Corpus Christi School is looking for a part-time (20 hours) Development Assistant to join the administrative team in fundraising and marketing. Applicant will be expected to attend various evening meetings to report on and coordinate development activities. Areas of experience and knowledge required are: grant research and writing, fundraising (including annual giving campaigns and donor development) public relations, planning and organization, and computer skills. Experience with non-profits is required. Applicant should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, with a minimum of three years experience in marketing, public relations, fundraising, or comparable. Applicant must complete a background check through the Arlington Diocese.
Position requires strong skills in business English, and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with an administrative team, as well as the business community, clergy, faculty, parents and parishioners. Writing samples are required. Professional dress code is applicable.
