Several parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington are seeking full time Coordinators of Youth Ministry to begin ministry in July 2013.

Candidates should have prior youth ministry experience and an understanding of Renewing the Vision as well as the competency to implement comprehensive youth ministry in a parish environment enriched by the Second Vatican Council. Responsibilities include maintaining a comprehensive youth ministry program that includes junior and senior levels and collaborating with parish staff and advisory committees to prepare and implement age-appropriate retreat and service opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess an MA in theology or related field, a willingness to be certified in youth ministry, good communication, organizational and listening skills. Candidates should be practicing Roman Catholic able to communicate and model a full understanding of the life and mission of the Roman Catholic Church.
