The Archdiocese of Chicago is in the midst of the To Teach Who Christ Is capital fundraising campaign, a $350 million effort for parish needs, Catholic education and faith formation. The Archdiocese seeks nominations or applications for a newly created Constituent Services position to assist the campaign effort.

The Constituent Services Coordinator is part of the campaign team and is responsible for constituent research, data organization, donor acknowledgment and reporting on gifts to benefit the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign and the ministries it supports.

Duties and Responsibilities

In consultation with the gift processing team, plan, manage and implement processes to effectively receipt and acknowledge all gifts to the Archdiocese of Chicago’s (AOC) TTWCI.

Plan, coordinate and manage benefactor recognition programs and activities designed to increase awareness and support of ministry priorities of the AOC.

Manage the Amergent Portfolio database including all aspects of benefactor information, research, queries and production of reports.

Coordinate with other AOC staff in relation to the management of special events in the Portfolio database.

Ensure major benefactors of the AOC are included in appropriate archdiocesan events and are recognized for their service and generosity.

Coordinate with vendors, AOC personnel and others as needed.

In consultation with other staff, plan, manage and implement policies and procedures related to the use of the constituent database, constituent electronic and paper files as well as any other constituent data kept by the AOC.

Coordinate the assignment of prospective donors to clergy, staff and volunteers.

Inform Campaign Manager, and other senior AOC staff of important facts and information regarding major benefactors ( i.e. – birthdays, anniversaries, special accomplishments, etc.) in connection with cultivation and gift solicitation activity.

Engage in prospect research activities on behalf of the AOC.

In consultation with other staff, develop effective benefactor recognition strategies.

Work with the gift processing team to maintain accurate records in the constituent database with regard to all acknowledgement and recognition programs.
