COMPUTER TEACHER AND TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR

Corpus Christi School (Falls Church, VA)
Corpus Christi School is looking for a full-time computer teacher for K-8 and technology coordinator. As technology coordinator, the applicant must have experience in hardware and software support and troubleshooting/maintenance. This position will provide training for faculty, and be a liaison for the grading and report card software system. Applicant will be responsible for maintaining the interactive white boards as well as computers and related hardware in the school.
The teaching position requires developing a curriculum based on diocesan guidelines which include teaching Microsoft Office Suite, keyboarding, internet use/safety, and web design, as well as cooperating with teachers to developing projects based on cross-curricular activities with grades K-8. Applicant must have knowledge and be a proficient user of computers and related technology and have strong classroom management skills.
A college degree with teaching certification and a minimum of three years of classroom experience and technical expertise is required. Knowledge of PowerSchool, HTML, interactive white boards, Linux, Windows XP/Windows 7 &8/2003 Server, and networking a plus.
