A successful candidate will have the ability to make significant creative contributions to the life, mission and vision of the parish community.
This individual will work in a highly collaborative environment with the director of lifelong formation, youth minister and parish school staff to meet the spiritual needs of our children. High expectations for performance and competence in ministerial and administrative responsibilities will be required.
Children’s Coordinator will oversee Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation Programs (3 years of age through 8th grade), Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Vacation Bible School, Parent and Child Faith Formation Sessions, RCIA for children as well as coordinate the Celebrations of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Must be a committed and practicing Catholic in good standing. Must possess a clear understanding of the Catholic faith with the skills to evangelize children and form intentional disciples who are engaged in their communities. Required qualification is a Master’s Degree or the equivalent with significant in-depth experience in teaching and organizing programs of faith formation for both children and their parents. Must be highly skilled with social media.
