Under the supervision and reporting to the President/CEO and open to ongoing guidance from the Holy Spirit, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for enabling the strategic and tactical management of the operations of the company through the implementation of meaningful, accurate and timely financial and other operational information; taking a leadership role in implementing strategic initiatives; coordinating activities and responses to opportunities and issues; and allowing the President | CEO to focus on revenue growth and strategic direction, donors and board development.
This position requires an individual who has hands-on P&L experience with management of businesses over $5 million in annual revenue, is self-motivated, financially-savvy, creative, and has the vision and leadership characteristics necessary to ensure that Life Teen maintains the proper operational and financial controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and technology and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure continued strong financial performance. We envision two types of individuals, at very different stages of their careers, being potentially ideal candidates. In one case, the individual would be at a mid-stage in their career and looking for the opportunity to take the lead at a growing organization and growing with a relatively young group of senior executives. In the other case, the individual would be at a later career stage and seeking an opportunity to utilize their experience to build an organization and mentor a team of young executives.
