Chief Financial Officer Position
Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph offers a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned financial professional ready to take an established Agency to the next level. We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO is responsible for the overall fiscal functions of Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph. This position oversees internal and external accounting operations and procedures including: preparation of budgets, management of grants, financial reports, and tax and audit functions. Works with the Chief Executive Officer, and the Leadership Team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans and policies for each while aligning them with the overall mission, strategy, and vision of Catholic Charities. The CFO works with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors to ensure that all financial goals are met.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader and financial executive with non-profit experience. Additional skills required include a strategic perspective with technical skills and analytical abilities. Master’s degree required. CPA preferred. Non-profit accounting experience preferred.
