Campus Minister – The Campus Minister at St. Paul’s Catholic Student Center at Boise State University supports the mission of the Diocese of Boise by assisting the Bishop in carrying out his role as the chief catechist of the diocese. The Campus Minister oversees and manages all functions of the Catholic Student Center and provides leadership, vision, and direction to all social, spiritual, and catechetical ministries, programs, and services. Furthermore, this individual promotes the skills of planning and programming and works in collaboration with other campus ministry and Diocesan Pastoral Center staff to promote an integrated and holistic approach to campus ministry that recognizes the cultural, developmental, and spiritual diversity among Catholic students.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, or related educational or ministry field or equivalent experience in college or young adult ministry; Masters in Pastoral Ministry, theology, or Divinity preferred; 3-5 years’ experience with college students or young adults; demonstrated competency in areas noted in the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA Standards for Campus Ministers.
