The Archdiocese of Chicago is in the midst of the To Teach Who Christ Is capital fundraising campaign, a $350 million effort for parish needs, Catholic education and faith formation. The Archdiocese seeks nominations or applications for a newly created Campaign Communication Specialist position to assist the campaign effort.
The Communication Specialist is part of the campaign team and assists with the design and implementation of communication strategies, programs and materials that build awareness and understanding of the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign and the ministries it supports.
Duties and Responsibilities
In consultation with other members of the TTWCI team, prepare a detailed fiscal year communication plan including desired outcomes, branding methodologies targeting various audiences of potential benefactors, measurable outcomes, programs and strategies as well as a coordinated calendar to increase participation by benefactors.
Coordinate the production of fundraising and marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, letters, proposals, ‘case for support’ documents, videos and other materials to support the campaign.
Manage and implement production of a Campaign Newsletter highlighting how gifts have made a positive influence in the lives of people in the Archdiocese of Chicago (AOC).
Coordinate activities with Communications, Stewardship & Development and other offices of the AOC.
Manage production of a final TTWCI report.
Maintain and update the TTWCI website and social media outlets.
Track progress against measurable outcomes, analyze results, formulate methods for improvement and report regularly to the Campaign Manager and others as appropriate.
Provide timely, written reports regarding the outcome of communication activities.
Identify, recruit and engage a Campaign Communication volunteer advisory committee.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Campaign Manager. (159)
