The Parish Business Manager has a primary responsibility for the reporting, internal control, cash management, accounting and budgeting processes for the church and school. In this capacity, the Business Manager fulfills an advisory and consultative role to the Pastor, Finance Council and School Principal and serves as a key contact to diocesan fiscal staff. The Business Manager oversees administrative staff, coordinates Parish efforts with audits, assists with the preparation, implementation and monitoring of budgets, and advises and assists with the maintenance, replenishment and financing of the Parish’s capital assets and infrastructure. This is a full-time salaried position.
Candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical, communication, interpersonal, managerial and writing skills. An undergraduate degree in accounting, business, finance or a closely related field and supervisory experience are expected. Qualification as a certified public accountant and knowledge of QuickBooks are highly desirable.
