Saint Monica Parish is seeking part or full time Associate Director of Music. Principal duties include directing children’s and youth choir and Parish Schola. The Associate Director will work collaboratively with Parish School music teacher. Other duties may include but are not limited to selecting liturgical music, playing organ, and instructing cantors. Salary and hours negotiable. Candidate must be Catholic in good standing who upholds fullness of Church’s teaching both in belief and manner of life. He/she must also have experience/training in authentic liturgical music, organ and conducting. Candidate should possess clear vision of the Church’s liturgical tradition as defined by the Second Vatican Council Document on the Sacred Liturgy Sacrosanctum Concilium. Candidate should have personal desire to promote sacred music according to the mind of the Church. (196)
