The Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy seeks a highly organized and skilled team member to serve in our Washington, DC office as “Associate Director of Development” (ADD). This full time position supports our fundraising, marketing and communications operations in the U.S. and reports directly to the Executive Director. The office is located near the Catholic University of America campus in North East DC (Brookland stop on the Metro Red Line).
The ADD is responsible for coordination of the direct mail program, drafting and management of grant solicitations, assistance with special events, and general support for the various initiatives of the Advancement Office. Significant amounts of writing and project planning are key elements of this position.
A minimum two-year college degree is required (four-year preferred). Candidates must have 3-5 years relevant experience in the development field, with excellent writing and time management skills. Attention to detail, efficiency, and an ability to turn around projects quickly are absolute musts. Preference will be given to those with experience using Raiser’s Edge software, and persons of the Catholic Faith. A competitive salary and benefits package are available.
