The USCCB Office of Government Relations is looking to hire a qualified person to support the advocacy work of the U.S. bishops. The position is responsible for federal advocacy in the areas of Catholic Education and Domestic Policy. Included in the requirements of the work is a thorough knowledge of the Congressional legislative process with advocacy experience, excellent verbal and communications skills, and an understanding of Church teaching. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Degree desired. Major Field/Specialty: Law, Political Science, Public Policy or Administration, History, Sociology, Education. 7 years of related experience.
