ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR HISPANIC CATECHESIS

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of full time Associate Director for Hispanic Catechesis. Responsibilities include; Recruit, train, mentor, and assist volunteer Spanish-language parish catechetical leaders. Assist in the formation of Spanish-language parish catechists for children, youth, and adults. Prepare and present trainings for catechetical leaders and catechists. Consult with pastors and catechetical leadership on creating and improving Spanish-language catechetical programs in the Archdiocese. Assist the Director in developing Spanish-language online and distance learning content and tools. Draft the Spanish-language portion of the Catechetical Center quarterly newsletter.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Religious Education; ability to write and speak Spanish; and must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.

Position is located at Catechetical Center, 2718 West Woodlawn Avenue, San Antonio, Texas.
