ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT

This individual provides administrative, project, and executive support to the office of the President. She/he oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office, and serves as the principal point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies. As manager for the Office of the President, the assistant helps to create and maintain structures that allow the President to effectively and efficiently perform all presidential roles and responsibilities. The responsibilities of the assistant include, but are not limited to, calendar maintenance & scheduling, donor relations, organization of Trustee-related activities, record-keeping, off-site errands and special events.
This ideal candidate will be a master communicator, as she/he will spend ample time coordinating with internal staff as well as business executives throughout the Houston community. Qualified candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible with daily tasks and projects delegated to him/her by the President. She/he will be motivated by the Catholic/Christian/Jesuit mission of the school and by the opportunity to help establish an institution that will have a real and lasting positive impact on the greater Houston community.
