ASSISTANT FISCAL MANAGER

The Missioners of Christ is seeking an Assistant Fiscal Manager to oversee the accounting functions of the apostolate. The position is part time, working 12-16 hours per week from home. Hourly rate will be determined by qualifications and experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Bank Deposits and Reconciliations
- Mission/Event Tracking
- Preparing Financial Statements
- Administering and Processing Payroll
- Developing and Implementing Budgets

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree and/or Equivalent Experience, Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail
- Experience in Peachtree or Sage Accounting Software preferred
- Ability to work efficiently from home and communicate effectively with other remote employees
