The Office of the Vicar General in the Catholic Diocese of Richmond seeks a full-time administrative assistant to provide administrative support to the office. Knowledge, abilities, and skills required include a strong working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases is necessary. Additionally, an exemplary record of confidentiality, demonstrated diplomacy, excellent follow-up, an ability to work with diverse groups, a strong team player with demonstrated collaboration skills and a courteous and professional manner is necessary. The successful candidate must be able to interact with all levels of staff/clergy. A college degree or equivalent background, plus three or more years of experience is required. Prior experience working in a parish setting or the Pastoral Center is strongly preferred. A candidate that is a Catholic in good standing is required.
