Christ Our Hope Catholic Church, a growing parish community in downtown Seattle, seeks to hire a FT Administrative Assistant. This position will be responsible for all administrative functions of the office including ensuring a welcoming and hospitable environment at the front desk of the pastoral center; providing general information to callers and visitors to the parish; assisting people in need by providing referrals to other church, social service and community agencies; providing administrative support to the pastor and other staff; maintaining the parish database system and overseeing all other parish record keeping systems, as well as recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers; Qualified candidates will have experience working as an administrative assistant and/or office manager. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential, as is experience in maintaining websites and social media accounts. Ability to communicate with a very diverse population (economically, socially, and ethnically) is required. Experience working with people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental illness is strongly preferred. Competitive salary based on experience and full benefits package.
