The Diocese of Joliet is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant for the Office of Hispanic Ministry / Ethnic Ministries to provide general secretarial and office services. Coordinate the pastoral programs and assist the Director of Hispanic Ministry with workshops and meetings as assigned. Represents the office when the Director is not available. Minimum of a high school diploma, an associate degree preferred. Minimum of two years previous administrative secretarial experience required. Must possess good telephone and communication skills. Must be bi-lingual in Spanish and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, and be able to translate English to Spanish and vise versa in verbal and written form. Must possess competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office; along with bookkeeping skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
